originally intended for release waaay back in 2001 (or even earlier?) - this was to be a pressed seven inch containing an a-side of "hey bird" which eventually was included on the "war of the bruces" album. now years and years later, after the bruces went on a unfortunate, but necessary hiatus, alex came back with the perfect re-entry into the indie world with the "thieves in the wick" lp (unread #230) - and as an added bonus, we resurrected this long lost seven inch, with the original unreleased b-side, and a new unreleased / reworked a-side. featuring the original screened cover art, and a book of new drawings / sketches in an edition of only 40 copies, now is the time to go back a good 18 years or so.
